They thrived despite me and now I've planted roses at all my houses. My favorites are pink - I have 5 knockouts out front and two the kids gave me over the years out back.
We've discussed converting part of our house into an 'apartment' at some point for my FIL...... I have a feeling it will probably happen in the next 3-5 years... or we'll have him buy a house up the road from us. Always good to have family near especially if they need help. So glad you enjoyed your trip. Have fun hand quilting.Deb Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04206921657695916898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5433230603334501738.post-45064169839858877792013-05-29T12:55:53.216-05:002013-05-29T12:55:53.216-05:00I keep hearing about knockout roses. Love all your answers-especially the one about the house for you and your family(we'd take land large enough for three homes and breathing room).
I am starting to learn that no dog is trustworthy, regardless of breed, until they've earned it. The labradoodle that attacked us was running loose in his yard when we walked by. The owner forgot to put his shock collar back on him-what does that tell you.
Hugs today.
NoreenNanaNor'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03608980502430055753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5433230603334501738.post-60959463317301531602013-05-29T09:17:15.351-05:002013-05-29T09:17:15.351-05:00Goodness,all these family compounds, how wonderful...Goodness,all these family compounds, how wonderful.
Oh, how I wish I had even the tiniest of a green thumb, how nice you get to enjoy your rose bushes.

Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Lucy from Lucy's RealityLucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14795342448811764481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5433230603334501738.post-30294913564261639902013-05-29T08:15:35.187-05:002013-05-29T08:15:35.187-05:00I like the dream!!! I really need to add some here, but finding a spot that will work is tricky. We have granite in the ground, and my back is mostly shady, so not a lot of options for something requiring sun.
