Look what greeted us on our return home yesterday.
Unfortunately our lilacs bloomed while we were gone, but thankfully the rest of our spring-blooming plants were kind enough to wait until we got home.
I have a trip recap in the works, but it will be an abbreviated recap. It was a very active trip, so I didn’t get a lot of pictures taken.
We haven’t been out to our garden yet … I expect that we’ll drive by today after we go check on DD’s kitties.
I hope to get back to the sewing room this afternoon … I’ve missed my time with needle and thread.
As we enjoy this Memorial Day weekend, let us never forget the sacrifices made for our freedom.
Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices. ~ Harry S Truman
