It was a busy weekend … but a great one!
It started slow … there wasn’t much on the agenda for Friday, so I was able to spend a good part of the day quilting.
I cannot count my day complete
'Til needle, thread and fabric meet.

Saturday was the summer swim regional championships … the top 6 swimmers in each event at each conference championships qualified to swim … and T#1 made the cut. He finished 2nd (a very close second, mind you!) on 3 of his 4 events, cutting time off his previous bests on all 4 events … he ended the day tied for 2nd place overall.
It was a great day watching him swim … and his brother and sister enjoy themselves too.
A friend of T#3’s joined in the tree climbing fun.
Sunday, we celebrated T#3’s birthday. That little guy is the biggest bundle of energy and the has the sweetest heart … and when I remember what we went through 7 years ago, I can’t help but praise God.
(Notice the two front teeth are missing … too cute!!)
Even though the weekend was busy, I did manage to get some more stitches in DD’s chevron quilt.
Even an hour or two every day can add up! I’ve got a lot to do today … but I certainly intend to make time for some quilting.
Hope you all are able to make some time for something you enjoy!
Kathy

Again, I think you could give me lessons. My quilt was on the wall last week and will stay there probably for a couple of days, but I'm itching to get back to it.
