Happy St. Patrick’s Day
I’ll be heading out to the soccer field in a little bit … first day of soccer this spring, and I cannot wait … I’m especially looking forward to seeing T#3 play! It’s always entertaining to watch 4 year-olds try to play soccer, but it ought to be hilarious to watch T#3 … he’s got more energy than ten 4 year olds! Unfortunately, DH will miss the games (he’s the chief cook and bottle washer for the men’s prayer breakfast at church). And DD will miss the games, too (she’s attending the Hearts at Home conference this weekend); she’s especially disappointed that she’ll be missing T#3’s very first soccer game.
It’s going to be another nice day today … once the fog lifts. When I got up this morning, there were weather alerts all over the place … heavy fog with almost zero visibility. Thankfully, the fog is lifting … slowly but surely.
Since today is also National Quilting Day, I’ll be quilting. The rains will be moving back in later in the day, so I’ll have the perfect excuse to do some more quilting.

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day. It sounds like it will be.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, I hope you had a wonderful time watching your T's playing soccer. I finally finished hand quilt my latest quilt but now I have to make the binding. With rain coming next week, it will be a perfect time to sew.

I hope the soccer game was fun (and entertaining). I'm sure it was :)
ReplyDeleteYou asked what kind of plant was in my garden photo--it's an irish potato plant.
