We had to say goodbye to our Abby the Labby yesterday. We knew that the day would be here sooner rather than later, but even so, we were not expecting it to be this soon.
Abby was our “problem child” … she was NOT a typical Lab. But she was our girl and we loved her just the same … and we will miss her.
Anytime I see anyone lose a pet in the blog world, I instantly cry... it tugs at my heart. Our lab is 9 yrs old & is not doing well... everytime I worry about loosing her. I'm so sorry...

ReplyDeleteOh Kathy I am so sorry. I hate loosing my animals worse than anything in the world. I know how hard it is to walk around and not have them with you.

I know when I put my dog down, I would stand at the door and wait for her to come for a long time. It still gets to me.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Kathy! Prayers for you and your family! We had a 13 yr old dog (pre-Buster) that we lost in 2009, and whenever I see these posts it takes me right back there. It's just so hard. My heart goes out to you. xoxo

ReplyDeleteHeaven's Day Care just got one more great girl who is waiting for you to join her. I'm so sorry, I know it hurts. It will hurt for a long time. Your house will feel bigger without her there. I'm sorry, just know that others understand.
ReplyDeleteOh, Kathy, these dogs can steal our hearts. We have two labs, a yellow and a chocolate. They are both aging and Hubby and I talk a lot about their time coming. So sorry!

so difficult a decision to make, but one that had to be made i'm sure - my heart goes out to you. been a year since we were faced with decision and had to let go. still hurts too much to talk about.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. I can't stand it when this happens. Our dogs are family and it's just so hard. You'd think I'd stop getting another one but I don't. My thoughts are with y'all!
