Life has a way of interrupting our plans sometimes, doesn't it? This is one of those times for me. DD's former step mom continues her fight, but it is now compounded by a severe case of anxiety. DD is reluctant to leave her (and her step sister) ... at least until the doctors can get some of her issues under control. That means that I am on Nana duty ... here at DD's at 6:30 so DSIL can leave for work until 6:30 when he returns. Needless to say, by the time I get home, I'm too exhausted to do much other than collapse into my chair, watch a few innings of the game, and get in a little "mindless" stitching.
Right now I'm not sure how long DD will need to stay at the hospital, so I'm going to take a brief blogging hiatus until things return to normal. I'll leave you with this photo of my progress on my Kiss quilt, taken Saturday afternoon (I was able to move the hoop 3-4 times after this picture was taken).
I hope that whatever you have planned for today includes a little something that will bring some joy!
Kathy
