“Keepers” from Pinterest

Several have asked if I’d share some of the “keepers” from my Pinterest recipe search.  Since it seems that I’m not the only one who’s looking for new recipes to try, I’ll be happy to share my “keepers” … if you all will share some of your favorites so I can add to my repertoire.

DH and I both liked the Baked Fried Chicken from http://thewondertwins.blogspot.com/2011/10/mondays-menu-baked-fried-chicken.html

We also liked the Smothered Chicken from http://baconbuttercheesegarlic.blogspot.com/2013/02/a-special-meal-for-my-valentine.html

I will say that the next time I fix it, I’ll double the amount of creamed spinach.

I would add the Parmesan Chicken Bake from http://www.mykitchenescapades.com/2012/07/parmesan-chicken-bake.html

I liked it better than DH did, but he doesn’t complain when I fix it.

I’d include the Easy Garlic Chicken from http://www.food.com/recipe/easy-garlic-chicken-5478

My only “complaint” was that with the oven set at 450, the sauce burnt a little.  I’ll try it again with a lower oven temperature.

And our favorite is Ina Garten’s Chicken Piccata from http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/chicken-piccata-recipe/index.html

Now it’s YOUR turn to share a few favorites.

  1. Ohhh, they all sound good! I'm not sure where to begin! The Baked Fried Chicken is the same recipe that my mom used when I was still at home! Thanks so much for sharing! ~Jeanne

  4. What a good idea to keep your recipes on Pinterest. Thanks for sharing yours. I am always looking for new things to cook because my kids get bored with the same things over and over again.

  6. I'll have to try some of these out; they sound delicious! I too am always looking for new recipes. I get a lot from Mr. Food (Mrfood.com). I signed up for their daily newsletter of recipes and I check out the ones that look interesting, print them off and then decide to try them down the road. Most have been very good and I haven't been disappointed that often.

    have a godo day!

  10. They sound yummy, but I never pin anything that is good for you. I just pin desserts because it is safer than me making them. :)
