108?
The last time it has been that hot in this area was 58 years ago! And it’s only June!
It’s also been so dry that many area towns are issuing water-usage restrictions and some area towns are cancelling their fireworks shows for the 4th.
Thank God for air conditioning.
This weather is something else, isn't it? Try to stay cool! Quilting in A/C sounds like a great way to spend the day! ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteYou COULD share!!!! We are lucky to make it into the 70s here.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I feel for people who work outside. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteWow that is hot! I just checked our forecast and we'll just be in the 90's and I thought that was hot. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just CRAZY, Kathy? Yes...thank the Good Lord for A/C! I would never make a Pioneer woman, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteTemecula on the other hand had lows overnight in the 50s. What???It's June. We are supposed to have a cooling trend over the weekend.
Totally weird weather.
Have a blessed day!
Viola
We're hot too, but at least here in NC, I expect it. I'm from Michigan so I know this is unusual for you Midwesterners. When the heat gets like this I think of our ancesters with their longs sleeves and long skirts, wood stoves and no fans. I would be such a whimp.
ReplyDeleteNow I feel for the people that have outdoor jobs like construction or firefighters... that's tough.
stay cool and eat alot of ice cream!!
ReplyDeleteHi there, Like you I am so thankful for a/c. Have a great cool evening.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Noreen
110 and I have never ever felt it that hot. Sandie
ReplyDeletei'm staying in and sewing! it's even too hot to get in our pool. and don't forget our furry friends - my doggy just gets to go out to do her business then it's right back in the a/c for her!
ReplyDeletewhat i really am concerned about is my hubby who works in a factory. the heat in there is unbearable. just have to pray and have faith he will be okay.
That is really hot! Praying that the power stays on so you can stay cool in the house.
ReplyDeleteAnything over 100 is just miserable I think! You are right, thank God for air conditioning! Can you imagine the days without it? yet people did get out and do things......
ReplyDeletedrink plenty of fluids and don't venture too far out during daytime hours!
